ProBetter LLC (“ProBetter,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the ProBetter Tours mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the App.

We are committed to transparency and to collecting only the information necessary to operate and improve our services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

When you create an account or use the App, we may collect the following information:

  • Email address (required)
  • First and last name
  • Password (stored in encrypted/hashed form)
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Internal account identifiers (user ID)
  • Purchase information related to tours you buy

1.2 Location Information

The App uses your device’s GPS location in real time to:

  • Enable location-based tour features
  • Trigger audio content during tours
  • Display maps and nearby points of interest

Important:
We do not store, record, or maintain a history of your precise location on our servers. Location data is processed only as needed for the App to function and is not retained after use.

1.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

  • Advertising identifiers (including IDFA)
  • Biometric data
  • Health information
  • Contact lists
  • Photos, videos, or audio recordings
  • Messages or communications content
  • Browsing activity outside of the App

     

    2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information solely for legitimate business and operational purposes, including to:

  • Create and manage user accounts
  • Authenticate users
  • Enable access to purchased tours
  • Process purchases and restore access
  • Provide customer support
  • Maintain and improve App performance, stability, and security

We do not use personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.

3.Tracking and Advertising

ProBetter Tours:

  • ❌ Does not track users across apps or websites
  • ❌ Does not use third-party advertising networks
  • ❌ Does not sell or share personal information
  • ❌ Does not engage in targeted or behavioral advertising
  • ❌ Does not request or use Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA)

     

    4.Disclosure of Information and Service Providers

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to trusted third-party service providers that perform services on our behalf and only as necessary to operate the App.

These service providers are contractually obligated to use personal information solely to provide services to us and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Examples of Service Providers

  • Mapbox – Provides mapping and location-based services and may process approximate location data and technical information necessary to deliver these features.
  • RevenueCat – Processes and validates in-app purchases, restores purchases, and manages access to purchased tours. RevenueCat receives limited transaction data from the Apple App Store (such as product identifiers, transaction status, and internal user identifiers) solely for these purposes and does not use the information for advertising or marketing.
  • Apple – Provides App Store distribution, payment processing, and TestFlight services.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) – Hosts backend infrastructure, databases, and cloud storage.
  • Google Workspace (Google LLC) – Provides business email and customer support services and may process email addresses and message content for those purposes.

We do not authorize service providers to use personal information for their own advertising or marketing purposes.

5.Data Storage and Security

We store personal information on secure cloud infrastructure and use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

Passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text.
While no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.

6.Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Maintain your account
  • Provide access to purchased tours
  • Comply with legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time.

    We respect the privacy rights of all users, regardless of where they live.

    Where required by applicable law, individuals may have certain rights with respect to their personal information, which may include the right to:

    In addition to any rights required by law, ProBetter LLC voluntarily extends these core privacy rights to all users, regardless of state or country of residence, subject to reasonable verification and applicable legal limitations.

    To protect your privacy and security, we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law or, where no specific timeframe applies, within a reasonable period.

    We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.


    8.Children’s Privacy

    The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

    If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps to delete it.

    9.International Data Transfers

    ProBetter Tours is operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

    Where required by law, such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent legal mechanisms. By using the App, you acknowledge and consent to these transfers and processing of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

    10.Changes to This Privacy Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
